The White 1988 Land Rover Ninety, spent its entire life in France before being imported into the United States with 102,000 miles on a 19J turbo diesel engine. In the second to final year (1989) of the Ninety model, a precursor to the Land Rover Defender 90, this truck is straight and rust-free like all C4 builds.
This Ninety - 007 - build will be for sale in early August 2024 after going through a complete frame-off restoration process. C4 designers anticipate a thorough restoration which will include a full exterior and interior overhaul. The truck will be painted in a rich metallic black color, with a diamond-stitched black leather interior. We plan to install an AC unit and a PUMA dash with a PUMA hood. This truck will be fitted with a new 400 H.P. / 350 cu. in. V-8 Chevrolet engine with sound deadening and a heat-controlling tub covering along with interior carpeting. The Defender will have upgraded wheels and tires, disk braking, and a full suspension upgrade. We are incorporating flip-down, forward-facing rear seats. A robust double-din stereo and modern technology with air-play features will adorn the interior. The truck will be slightly suspension-lifted to accommodate 35" BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires. Exterior racks and "Spectre" lighting will be added along with a backup camera. This beast will have a 10,000 lbs. Warn winch and upgraded high-intensity LED lighting.
